Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NONPROFIT.SYSTEMS (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit nonprofit.systems (the “Site”) or contact us. We are based in Boca Raton, Florida, USA.
The short version
- This Site does not use advertising trackers and does not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
- We only collect what you choose to send us, such as your name and email when you write to us.
- When we build a system for your organization, your organization owns its data. We process it only to provide our services, under a written agreement.
Information we collect
Information you send us. If you email us or book a review, we receive your name, email address, organization name and anything you choose to include in your message.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the Site running. This Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers; see Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies. This Site does not set its own cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
How we use information
- To reply to your messages and provide the review or services you ask for
- To prepare proposals and agreements
- To keep the Site secure and working
- To comply with legal obligations
Data we handle for client organizations
When we build or run a system for a church or nonprofit, that organization decides what data is collected (for example, sign-ups, visits, donors and volunteers) and owns it. We act as a service provider: we process that data only on the organization's instructions and as described in our agreement with it, we do not sell it, and we return or delete it when the engagement ends. Questions about data held in a client's system should go to that organization first.
When a client asks us to connect third-party services (such as payment processors, email providers, Google Workspace or an AI assistant such as Claude), those services handle data under their own terms and privacy policies. We configure them so that sensitive information is limited to what each service needs.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business (such as email and hosting providers), when you ask us to, or when required by law.
Retention
We keep your messages and related records for as long as needed to respond, provide services and meet legal or accounting requirements, then delete them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and backups. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This Site is intended for organizations and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this Site.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@nonprofit.systems. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor requests as the law requires.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
